Dancer and choreographer Joe Moran presents Open to Change, a new solo for dancer Katye Coe with live projection and film. Open to Change is a persistent deliberation on the presence and politics of difference within the constraints of choreographic repetition.
Projected film and video include works by visual artist Magali Reus, Joe Moran in collaboration with Jane Barnwell and Roberto Napoletani and Swedish musicians The Knife.

Open to Change is a co-production with Chisenhale Dance Space and is supported through its members support programme.
Joe Moran is a London-based dance artist and Artistic Director of Dance Art Foundation. He creates dance and video works for theatres, galleries and public spaces. This Spring he convened Score for 30 Dancers, a closely ‘scored’ improvisational dance at Christ Church Spitalfields and is currently touring his adaptation of At Once, the new solo by iconic American choreographer Deborah Hay. Joe recently choreographed Background, a film by visual artist Magali Reus (IBID Projects, London; La Salles des Bains, Lyon) and Survey, a solo for Marina Collard (The Place, Jan 2010). As a dancer, Joe has worked with a number of distinguished choreographers including Deborah Hay, Siobhan Davies (Bank project), Stephanie Skura, Kate Brown, Florence Peake, Gaby Agis and Christopher House (Toronto Dance Theatre), as well as visual artists Daria Martin, Magali Reus and Shaan Syed.
Katye Coe is a dance artist and senior lecturer whose primary dance practices are Skinner Releasing Technique, Contact Improvisation and Non stylised movement (Helen Poynor). She has collaborated with Joe Moran (Dance Art Foundation) on his new work, Open to Change, and is currently touring her solo, Behind my Back, which will be shown in London and Essex this Spring. Katye is the artistic director of Summer Dancing, an international festival of dance and performance.
