At Once will be performed along Moran’s new work, Reform, a collaboration with British-Canadian visual artist Shaan Syed, created for a company of 12 dancers from Coventry University.

Dance Art Foundation is very pleased to be embarking upon a new collaboration with Creative Partnerships in 2010. Dance Art Foundation will work with Grove Park Special School over the coming year to create a new dance work that responds to young people's experience of change at a time when the school is moving into a new building and will merge with a neighbouring school. The project investigate 'how creative teaching and learning can impact and change the dynamics of our school'.

Dance Art Foundation is very pleased to have been commissioned by Sadler’s Wells and London Youth Dance, in association with Youth Dance England, to be a partner on the Jam Free youth dance project. Performances will take place in February and March 2010 in Enfield and at the Lilian Baylis Studio at Sadler’s Wells.

This funding will enable Dance Art Foundation to extend the reach of its work with new partnerships and initiatives in 2009-10.

This summer, Artistic Director Joe Moran collaborates with the celebrated American choreographer Stephanie Skura and dancers Manuela Bondavalli (Italy), Katye Coe (UK) and Yvonne Ng (Toronto) on an improvisation project at Container 12 in Italy. Performances will take place on Sunday 19 July in Brescia.

The Great Divide considers the critical tensions in the relationship between dance and the visual arts. Curated by Joe Moran for Dance Art Foundation and chaired by Professor Sarah Whately, the discussion event features an opening provocation by dance artist and writer Lizzy Le Quesne and contributions from artists Eva Karczag, Doran George and Jessica Lerner. The Great Divide is presented on Weds 24 June at the Herbert Art Gallery as part of Summer Dancing Festival 2009.

Find Your Talent Tower Hamlets has awarded £8000 to a partnership project by Dance Art Foundation and Vital Arts at Royal London Hospital. The award will fund an artist residency that uses dance to support occupational and physiotherapy for children and young people at the hospital.
