Celebrating 10 years of its national
Breathing Space dance-in-health programme
Dance Art Foundation presents

P I L O T
A solo by Theo Clinkard

Thursday 21 June, 1pm and 1.30pm
Chelsea & Wesminster Hospital

P I L O T  is the first live solo by the celebrated dancer and choreographer Theo Clinkard. Premiered in 2011 at the Nightingale Theatre as part of Brighton Fringe Festival, P I L O T  responds to the context of each new presentation. Every performance is different with re-imagined staging, including costume, lights and music, testing the fabric of the dance and stimulating new interpretations from both the dancer and the audience.

P I L O T   has previously been performed in silence, to Judy Garland, and to Domenico Scarlatti's keyboard sonatas. For Breathing Space at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, Theo will perform the solo twice, using Richard Skelton's rousing sonic score Green Withins Brook and Van Morrison's Sweet Thing.
